Who would you be without your story? Who would you be without the stressful thoughts and limiting beliefs we have running in our lives every day? The stressful thoughts that keep us from being present and experiencing the peace of mind, creativity and abundance that is always available, here and now. In this workshop, Tim McLean will share with us the simple and powerful process of self-inquiry called, The Work of Byron Katie. Byron Katie, defines “The Work” as a way to identify and question the thoughts and beliefs that limit our lives and cause all the stress and suffering in our world. The Work consists of four questions and what Katie calls, a “turnaround” which is a way of experiencing the opposite of what you were thinking and believing. As we do The Work and question our stressful thoughts and beliefs, our attachments to them unravel and let go. The result is relaxation, fearlessness, joy, creativity, and peace of mind. The Work works for anyone with a pen and paper, and an open mind.

In this 180-min workshop, you will have the opportunity to identify the places in your thinking where you are limited, frustrated or suffering and then through inquiry with the work, “turn it around” to experience new insights, understanding and the abundance of life in reality–beyond the limits of your stressful thoughts and stories.

6:30pm: Welcome and Introduction to Inquiry with The Work of Byron Katie
6:45pm: The process of Inquiry: 4 Questions and Turnarounds:
1. Is it true?
2. Can you absolutely know that its true?
3. How do you react, what happens when you believe that thought?
4. Who would you be without the thought? (Who would you be without your story?)
Inquiry with “turnarounds” – a way of experiencing the opposite of what
you are thinking and believing.
7:15pm: Identifying Stressful Thoughts and Limiting Beliefs
7:30pm: Tim will facilitate The Work with participants
8:10pm: Pair Work – Inquiry with The Work
8:40pm: Doing The Work on Your Own
9pm: Q&A, Resources for doing The Work
